Wellness Week @ NZME
NZME’S WELLNESS WEEK 19 – 23 NOVEMBER 2018
Twice a year at NZME, we do a 'Wellness Week' to show that we care about our most important asset - our people. During these weeks, we have a variety of guests sharing personal strategies, fitness challenges, informative presentations and free healthy snacks to help improve our financial, mental and personal health.
As you may know, we are scattered around the nation with over 47 regional offices therefore this time around we have introduced the first Wellness Week Challenge Booklet which offers everyone, regardless of hours or location, the opportunity take up a series of initiatives each day to help improve general health and well-being. Did we also mention there's spot prizes up for grabs for those who participate?!
Each regional office has their own Wellness Representative who have pulled together a selection of online and onsite wellness initiatives to get involved in. Those of us at NZME Central have a exciting and eventful week ahead! Check out our schedule:
The aim is to have every employee to take time out of their working day to and take part in at least one thing on the schedule. But hey, if they want to sign up for all of it.. we're all for it :D
Yoga, meditation, massages, facials, HITT and bootcamp sessions are just a few of the activities we have planned. To add to this, we're also super excited for Perpetual Guardian to come in and educate us on Wills and Making the most of our Kiwisaver. And due to popular demand, we welcome back Active Wear Wednesday so we're skipping the suit on Wednesday and wearing our workout clothes instead!
